From the beginning of kendama growth in the US, the idea of a kendama themed summer camp had been thrown around. Enter the National Kendama Retreat, the first multi-day kendama camp. Players of all ages and skill levels gathered to compete in countless mini games, a team based video contest, and learn tricks from their favorite professional players, who also happened to be their camp counselors.
